During the Fiesta de las Golondrinas (Festival
of the Swallows), the Fiesta Association presents a variety
of events to the community which include: the Taste of San
Juan, Kids’ Pet Parade, Presidente Ball, Fiesta Grande, Hoos'gow
Day (shooting up the town and arresting those who need arresting),

To present these events to the community the
Fiesta Association needs all kinds of help – from setting
up the events, to the biggest need on parade day of over 250
volunteers. On parade day, duties can include helping with
traffic control, parade line-up and staging, to security at
the Mercado (an open air market place held on parade day).
Required Dress Includes: White shirt, black
pants or skirt, black vest and black felt hat. Dress should
be as a cowpuncher between 1850-1900.
You must be a Fiesta Association Member to volunteer
at the Fiesta Association events.
